Which is your comfort zone? Mind, Body, Spirit or Emotions?

Do you like to stay in your mind and analyse a situation? Do you prefer to feel your emotional response to it? Do you connect more to your gut and feel your physical reaction? Or are you happier witnessing the event from a higher perspective - perhaps through the lens of your higher self or guardian angel?

In an ideal world we should be able to move seamlessly around these aspects of our being. Each has important information for our growth and each support our evolution if we know how to access that part of ourselves and to use it in the way nature intended.

So if you know you have a strong preference for only one or two areas I'd like to challenge you to move out of your comfort zone and try something that will stretch you. If you're happiest meditating, try a trauma release session or a shiatsu massage. If you're at ease discussing your feelings in 'talk therapy' try expressing them in a drumming workshop or a 5 rhythms dance class. If you're happiest journaling, try reiki or vortex healing. Accessing yourself through different doorways can be very enlightening and shine a light on blindspots that might otherwise remain fragmented - and one of the most powerful ways to heal is to integrate these parts of us and become more whole.
