The Magflex - use on your back or your front
|
At our family Christmas gathering I noticed my normally cheerful relative who was standing peeling carrots. He was clearly putting on a brave face and it turned out his back really hurt.
Channeling Mary Poppins I opened my capacious bag and used Nikken far infrared DUK tape to stick the Magflex to one side of his upper back. (I had it to hand as I'd just spent two days driving north - car seats are not designed for human backs:) An hour later my lovely relative was relaxed and smiling - right as rain.
 He took it off later, as it was needed elsewhere, but by the evening his smile was strained around the edges again, so we stuck it back on - and once more he breathed a sigh of relief.
It's great to have something that doesn't involve popping a pill and burdening your liver. I'd even stuck the DUK tape on my cheek the night before because I woke at 5 am with toothache. 30 minutes later all was well and I nodded off.
The Cheesecake Crisis Here's weird - the cheesecake was taken out of the freezer much too late, so it was still rock hard, so Ms Poppins slipped the Magflex under it. An hour later it was defrosted. By then the Magflex had become almost too cold to touch because it had absorbed all the cold from the cheesecake. That's what far infrared does. It absorbs cold and reflects heat - or the other way around - depending what's needed to regulate temperature. Which is why it's ideal for clothes and duvets.

Jeromy Johnson, an engineer working in Silicone Valley, found his mental and physical health suddenly deteriorated over the space of week. A colleague suggested his symptoms were very similar those of her husband which developed after they'd had a smart meter installed.
