A Change of Leadership
In recent months we've seen two positions of power and authority change hands in the United Kingdom - the Prime Minister and the Queen.
This leadership shift can usefully prompt us to look at our own leadership. Who represents authority in your life? Do you follow an external role model who's socially approved of, or one you've chosen according to your own values? Or do you follow the leadership of your heart, in partnership with your soul?
Where we look to for leadership is where we put our power, so as we observe this external handover of power is it time for one within ourselves? Often our choices and responses are led by our childhood wounds which trigger unconscious behaviour. However, as we heal, we're able to pause, reflect, notice our knee-jerk reactions and be led instead by our more mature reflective wisdom, leading to different decisions and outcomes
