Many of us shut ourselves off from it because we've internalised so many judgements as children that we feel unable to ask for help as adults. We may project our childhood experiences onto those around us, telling ourselves that people are too busy, overwhelmed or under-resourced or they simply wouldn't care enough to prioritise our needs, because that reflects painful early experiences with our carers.
But we can't shine like the diamonds that we are unless we integrate those early experiences and open up to effective resources. The resilience created by effective emotional tools, by community, by effective financial management, spiritual practice and the ability to communicate clearly and courageously are all essential nuts to be gathering to see us through the inevitable winters in our lives.
So if you struggle to ask for what you need, I hope you can make the most of the tools and services below to strengthen your foundations and become a more powerful expression of your unique nature.

Essence Guidance - Two Common Mistakes

 People often tell me that they don't know which essence blend to choose and it's frequently due to a couple of misunderstandings in how you ask.
On the one hand you may be wanting an essence to 'get rid' of an uncomfortable feeling or problem. On the other you may be wanting a specific outcome, but neither of these are how you choose.
In the first case you're focused on what you don't want and the second on what you do want. An effective essence blend that will really support transformation will address what is, right now, in the present moment.
Essences are frequencies and the right combination will get to work to unravel the often painful knot of feelings and change your state of mind. Gradually you'll begin to see the landscape of your life through new eyes. What you originally wanted may no longer be the same. The problem that you had may turn out to be a blessing, an important growth point or a door into a new opportunity.
So, when you're choosing an essence blend take time to quietly go within and look at what is. You may not like what you see, but stay there and let it unfold. Nature doesn't judge its own creation, it's simply offers you a tune to bring it back into harmony.

Transformation through dance is based on the understanding that physical birth needs to be followed by a second, spiritual birth of our inner being.
Through movement-meditation the body lets us experience the subtle or 'inner' body in relation to more extensive planes of existence. We realise we're part of an infinite chain of developing beings.
By repeated actions, attention to breathing, steps and gestures, and by moving within a mandala space, dancers learn to express the many-faceted experiences of the soul in prayer.
The week is led by Maria-Gabriele Wosien who has studied meditation and dance in India and Nepal.
