The events of this year have tested many of us to our limits. We've had to dig deep into our resources. Even if you were in a resilient place going into lockdown, you may now be feeling under strain: emotionally, physically, financially and mentally.
Most of us can find extra energy in an emergency - after all we're designed to react to sabre-toothed tigers chasing us. When it's over we rest, recover and reset.
But now we're being told that sabre-toothed tigers are prowling around everywhere. If we allow a friend into our house they may bring one in with them. If we go outside apparently they immediately start circling. This level of chronic hyper-vigilance takes a tremendous toll on our adrenals and nervous system.
Never has it been more important to use your discernment and to know where you stand - to strengthen your faith in your own understanding of what's true for you. And never has it been more important to have a strong support system both in the temporal and the unseen realms. Surround yourself with like-minded souls and stay tuned in to your spiritual helpers.

TLC training is designed to enhance the care offered by anyone to people at the end of life.
At the forefront of the training is compassionate support to the dying and those with progressive or life-limiting illness. The training focusses on holistic care, listening, the stages of dying framework and sitting with people in the last moments of life.
TLC involves a unique examination of the stages of dying and offers simple tools and gentle therapeutic techniques to aid comfort.
Soul midwives are non-medical, holistic companions who guide and support the dying in order to facilitate a gentle and tranquil death. The School’s Gentle Dying techniques in holistic palliative care have now been adopted in many hospices throughout the UK.
The TLC training is an approved course from the Soul Midwives’ School being offered nationally throughout the UK.
TLC is based on the pioneering movement of the Soul Midwives’ School founded by Felicity Warner (voted 2017 End of Life Care Champion by The National Council for Palliative Care and the Royal College of Nursing and End of Life Doula of the Year 2017 by the Good Funeral Awards).
Course content includes:
- Four stages of dying framework
- Simple therapeutic techniques to calm agitation, anxiety and tension including soothing touch
