Are you creatively present? In the days around the full moon on June 17 our imaginations will be in full flight and we'll need to keep our feet on the ground to distinguish fantasy from reality.
Creative and visionary ability is essential to direct our soul purpose and it needs to work in harmony with our capacity to be practical, discerning and organised - to do the small steps day after day that will get us where we want to be, without being diverted.
How much you can rely on yourself either to see your purpose clearly or to act on it, will depend on your relationship to your own feminine and masculine energy.
For example, if you grew up with the idea that vision or creativity weren't valued - perhaps you saw them constantly put to one side, while other things were prioritised - it may be hard to value your own.
If promises made to you weren't kept or if your perception of reality was constantly invalidated: 'don't be silly' - and life felt chaotic or unpredictable, it may be challenging either to create a realistic plan or to stick to it.
So when life isn't delivering what you want, it helps to take a look at what subtle, unconscious patterns and beliefs from the past may be holding you back. More on that below.

Reclaim Your Past - Inner Child Offer

How old are you? There may appear to be only one answer to that question but, unless you're fully enlightened, you'll have many ages, stuck in time, and contained within your personality.
Depending on the emotional processing that we've already done, there will be times when we respond from a part of us that isn't a mature, present adult, let alone an eternal spiritual being:)
For example, how old is the part of you that reacts when:
- you watch fireworks
- someone you care about makes a critical remark about you
- your friend invites you to a party
- you pack to go away
- someone you love gets really sick
- someone takes your seat or your parking space
- you eat chocolate
- your boss or your partner asks if they can 'have a word with you'
- you win a prize or cross a finishing line
- you need to take the first step towards a cherished dream
- an unexpectedly large bill arrives
- you hear your favourite song
- you stand up to give a speech
- you smell salty air and can hear waves breaking on the seashore
There's no right or wrong answer and your response may vary depending on your mood. Perhaps you're reading this clad in full emotional armour or you might be feeling vulnerable and easily able to contact aspects of your younger self that yearn for your attention.
Some of the most important work we do in our lifetime is to re-parent ourselves. Every time we go back along the road of our life and pick up parts of us that were left behind, we become more complete, more understanding, more resourced, more compassionate and more accepting of our true nature.
 We don't need to have had obviously traumatic childhoods to have disassociated from certain events. As children we're emotional sponges and our tender hearts feel deeply - even the small everyday wounds of life.
When we do inner child work it's important to remember that any fear or resistance stem from your child self. If you think you'll be overwhelmed by the emotion that surfaces, that was the reality when you were little. Pushing it back down again as an adult reinforces your inner child's sense of rejection and of being unacceptable. Whereas feeling it now, in a safe space, as an adult, can be both amazingly brief, wonderfully liberating and open you to a whole new level of love.
